SUMMER PROJECT 2025  

Learn fantastic new skills, have fun and gain a City & Guilds certificate

Our successful and much anticipated Summer Project will run again in 2025, for three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), from Tuesday 29th  July to Thursday 28th August, from 10am to 4pm. (If you have a family holiday booked, we can work around this).

Learn how to build a Go-Kart in the Beckton Skills Centre workshop and then test drive it in our yard before going to a karting track to experience racing in electric karts. The project will involve mechanical work, as well as painting your kart with your own design.

Fully funded by East End Community Foundation (EECF) and other local charities, the course is entirely FREE of charge to all young people aged between 14 and 18; the track event is FREE, and FREE lunches are provided.
